The governance and management structure of Akuoro Restore Hope Initiative – Uganda (RHOI-Uganda) ensures strong leadership, accountability, and effective implementation of programs that serve communities in need.
The Board of Trustees provides the highest level of governance and strategic oversight for the organization. The Board ensures that the organization operates in line with its mission, values, and legal obligations. It also guides long-term policy, accountability, and sustainability of the organization.
The Managing Director is responsible for the overall leadership and management of RHOI-Uganda. The Managing Director oversees organizational strategy, program implementation, partnerships, and operational management while ensuring that the organization achieves its goals and objectives.
The Director of Strategy and Partnerships supports the Managing Director in strengthening institutional growth, building partnerships, and developing strategic initiatives. This role focuses on expanding collaborations with development partners, donors, and stakeholders while guiding long-term program strategy.
The senior management team supports the leadership of the organization and ensures effective internal administration.
Responsible for staff recruitment, performance management, staff welfare, and organizational capacity development.
Oversees organizational documentation, governance compliance, coordination of meetings, and communication between leadership and operational teams.
Responsible for financial planning, budgeting, financial reporting, and ensuring proper financial accountability and compliance.
Leads the planning, coordination, and implementation of all program activities across the organization.
The organization implements its work through specialized program areas coordinated by program coordinators who oversee field activities and ensure effective service delivery.
Leads initiatives aimed at improving access to education, supporting vulnerable learners, and promoting educational development.
Coordinates health-related interventions including community health education, disease prevention, and healthcare support services.
Oversees projects that improve access to safe water, sanitation facilities, and hygiene promotion in communities.
Leads livelihood and vocational training initiatives that empower community members with practical skills for economic independence.
The community is at the center of all RHOI-Uganda programs. All initiatives are designed to empower communities, strengthen resilience, and improve livelihoods through participatory and sustainable development approaches
