Akuoro Restore Hope Initiative – Uganda (RHOI – Uganda) is a registered non-profit community-based organization in Serere district, Uganda, operating under the NGO Act 2016 - Revised. Committed to immediate and long-term community development, RHOI – Uganda empowers rural communities to combat poverty, disease, and illiteracy. Their focus areas include education, health, community empowerment and livelihood, and water and sanitation. Guided by core values like competency and integrity, RHOI - Uganda has a proven track record of collaboration with major NGOs and government bodies, enabling them to make a significant impact. RHOI – Uganda invites support to transform lives and create lasting change in vulnerable communities.
At RHOI – Uganda, we envision a healthy, empowered, and self-sustaining community that is enlightened and keenly aware of its living conditions. Our aim is to achieve both immediate and long-term development by providing support where it's needed most.
Our mission is to empower rural communities to combat poverty, disease, and illiteracy through accessibility to education, comprehensive training services and accessibility to health care services and provision of reliable, safe clean water. By equipping individuals with knowledge and skills, we enable them to take charge of their destinies.
RHOI – Uganda is dedicated to improving the living standards of vulnerable communities in Serere. We achieve this by providing education, skill acquisition, health accessibility, and provision of clean, safe reliable water.
Our approach is rooted in sustainability. We take a needs-based approach, ensuring that communities are actively involved in problem-solving and resource mobilization. By working hand in hand with our members, donor agencies, and philanthropic partners, we bring our program goals to life.
